Bill Koenigsberg

President, Horizon Media Holdings

Bill Koenigsberg is CEO and Founder of Horizon Media Holdings, the largest media agency in the U.S. and the largest independent globally. He founded the agency in 1989 with a focus on strategic leadership, client service, and a guiding belief that business is personal. 

He is widely recognized as one of the most influential executives in the industry. His honors include induction into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Fame and the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame. He has also been named to Adweek’s Power List, the 4As Advertising 100, and Variety’s Gotham 60, among other distinctions. He is the only recipient of the Advertising Age Media Maven Award twice. 

Bill was the first media executive to serve as board chair of the 4As and currently serves as vice chair. He is a board member of the International Radio and Television Society and chairs its Media Exposure Committee. He has been recognized by the IRTS Foundation with the Hall of Mentorship Award and has been honored by NABOB and the Power of Urban Radio Alliance for leadership on industry-wide inclusion standards. 

Philanthropy is a core part of his work. He has received the Reisenbach Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award and Distinguished Citizen Award, along with honors from The National Kidney Foundation and City Harvest. He also actively supports the Michael J. Fox Foundation. 

Bob Lord

President, Horizon Media Holdings

Bob Lord is President of Horizon Media Holdings and Interim CEO of Horizon Global. He is a global executive with more than three decades of experience leading business and technology transformation, consistently driving growth through innovation and open ecosystems.

He is focused on evolving the agency model through AI-powered solutions, data transparency, and open marketing platforms, positioning Horizon as a tech-centered, people-first independent organization built for modern marketing. He has driven differentiation for Blu Platform, Horizon’s AI-native intelligence engine that unites strategy, insights, activation, and reporting in real time. Previously, he served as IBM’s first Chief Digital Officer, where he built an open ecosystem of developers, partners, and clients and led global digital transformation. Crystal Park

Chief Marketing Officer, Horizon Media Holdings

As Chief Marketing Officer of Horizon Media Holdings, Crystal Park is focused on differentiating Horizon as a fiercely independent growth partner for brands that deserve more from their agency. She is responsible for the Horizon brand, marketing, PR/Comms, trade partnerships, and ensuring the agency leads with human ingenuity, open ecosystem innovation, and a culture of transparency to drive meaningful growth.

Equally as important during her career has been her commitment to mentoring future talent and building AI-fluent teams.   

Prior to Horizon, she served as Vice President of B2B marketing at The Weather Company, where she led a cross-functional revenue marketing organization to help clients confidently leverage data and technology to make more informed decisions.  

 Park sits on the IAB AI Board and is an active member of the ANA Educational Foundation. 

David Campanelli

President, Global Investment, Horizon Media Holdings

David Campanelli is President, Global Investment at Horizon Media.He leads more than $8.5 billion in media investment and oversees the company’s marketplace strategy, negotiation approach, and cross channel activation across all media platforms. 

He also leads key business units including Horizon Sports, Horizon Performance Digital, and MX, Horizon’s principal buying entity. His leadership has been central in helping brands adapt to a rapidly evolving and fragmented media landscape, driving both efficiency and growth at scale. 

David has been recognized as Media Week’s Media Buyer of the Year, CableFAX Executive of the Year, and a YANY Media Honoree. He is a 2025 IRTS Hall of Mentorship Award recipient and actively contributes to industry leadership through the IAB Agency and Video Councils, the Roku Advisory Council, and the Comcast Advisory Board. Domenic Venuto

Domenic Venuto is Chief Product and Data Officer at Horizon Media, responsible for enterprise product, data, and AI strategy. He leads the development of scalable data driven solutions that improve media performance and business outcomes for clients. 

Previously, he served as COO at Progress Partners, where he helped scale M&A and venture initiatives in media and advertising. At Amobee, he oversaw a global organization of more than 300 people and managed $320 million in revenue, including the integration of Videology’s $120 million acquisition. At The Weather Channel, he launched AI driven advertising products and expanded revenue through strategic data partnerships. 

He has also held senior roles at Publicis Groupe and Razorfish, leading large scale P&Ls and key industry partnerships across retail and media. He contributes thought leadership across adtech publications and serves as an advisor and board member, including with ID5. He holds an MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. 

Gene Turner

Chief Client Officer & President, Horizon Agencies, Horizon Media Holdings

Gene Turner is President of Agencies at Horizon Media Holdings, where he leads the strategic direction, development, and expansion of the agency’s full service offerings. He oversees a team of 674 professionals and manages approximately $3.5 billion in paid media investment across channels and platforms. 

He also leads a diverse portfolio of 50 brands, balancing performance driven outcomes with long term brand building. Gene has spent more than two decades at Horizon, where he founded and built Horizon Next into a core growth engine for the organization.

John Koenigsberg

EVP, Head of Product Partnerships, Horizon Media Holdings

John Koenigsberg is EVP, Platform Partnerships at Horizon Media Holdings, where he leads transformative growth for emerging businesses through innovative service models and strategic platform collaboration. 

He joined Horizon from VICE, where he served as Vice President of Media, leading branded content distribution, paid social activation, and campaign analytics while supporting North American commercial strategy. Earlier in his career, he held agency and publisher side roles at Razorfish, where he developed integrated brand and direct response strategies with a focus on hospitality and financial services, and helped pioneer early programmatic and social advertising initiatives. 

He is a Yahoo Media All Star and an active supporter of maternal and perinatal mental health initiatives. 

Karen Hunt

President, Western Region

Karen Hunt is President, West Coast Region at Horizon Media, where she leads regional growth strategy, client development, and high performing teams across the West Coast. 

She also founded the Creative and Innovation Collective at Horizon, designed to accelerate creative thinking, inspire innovation, and elevate ideas across media, clients, and the agency. Prior to joining Horizon, she held senior leadership roles within major holding companies, overseeing growth across categories including entertainment, financial services, retail, apparel, and toys.

Nancy Galanty

EVP, Talent and Culture, Horizon Media Holdings

Nancy Galanty is Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Horizon Media, where she is responsible for the agency’s talent experience. Nancy is passionate about building effective teams, empowering leaders, scaling and streamlining operations, and ensuring a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone to do their best work though a fulfilled and empowered experience. 

Throughout her career, Nancy has traversed the full media ecosystem — holding executive level positions at publishers, advertising technology vendors, media agencies and start-ups. Nancy has also held leadership positions in organizations focused on the advancement of the advertising industry through research, shared thought leadership, and education. Notably, she served as Executive Director of Women Advancing, the largest national organization supporting women in media, advertising, technology, and related fields. 

Nancy is also passionate about mitigating food insecurity in her community. She sits on the board of the Woodcliff Harvest Food Pantry, which supports people experiencing food insecurity in Hudson County, New Jersey with access to groceries, pantry supplies and community connection. 

Richard Arenaro

Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer & Chief Information Security Officer

Richard Arenaro is Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Information Security Officer at Horizon Media Holdings, where he leads the company’s enterprise technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data strategy, platform engineering, and technology operations. During his tenure with Horizon, he has helped shape the organization’s evolution into a technology-enabled, data-driven enterprise while building the capabilities required to support continued growth, innovation, and client trust. 

Serving as both CTO and CISO, Richard brings a distinctive perspective to Horizon’s executive leadership team. He views technology innovation and cybersecurity not as competing priorities, but as mutually reinforcing business disciplines. His organizations are designed to enable growth while embedding security, privacy, resilience, and accountability into the architecture and operation of enterprise platforms. 

At Horizon, Richard has led the development of enterprise AI initiatives, helping integrate generative AI, advanced analytics, automation, and intelligent decision support throughout the organization. Vinnie O’Toole

EVP, Chief Operating & Financial Officer, Horizon Media Holdings

Vincent “Vinnie” O’Toole is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at Horizon Media. He oversees the company’s financial, operational, and administrative infrastructure, including finance, accounting, M&A, FP&A, treasury, IT, legal, human resources, and real estate. 

With more than 35 years of experience in financial leadership and corporate strategy, Vinnie has played a central role in driving Horizon’s operational growth and organizational expansion. Cherie Calingasan is President of Horizon Next and a growth partner to high-growth consumer brands, helping them build and scale modern marketing engines. A global marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience, she connects business strategy to real-time data signals, leveraging media, technology, and creative to drive faster, smarter decisions and sustainable growth.

Chris Hummel

Chris Hummel is President of Horizon Business, where he leads B2B strategy, growth, and transformation initiatives. A global executive with more than 25 years of experience, he focuses on aligning sales, marketing, and product organizations to drive scalable revenue growth and measurable business outcomes. 

Hummel is a recognized authority on B2B go-to-market strategy, value management, and revenue operations. Chris Weil

Co-CEO & Founder, HS&E

Chris Weil is Co-CEO and Founder of Horizon Sports and Experiences. He leads the organization alongside David Levy, focusing on intellectual property creation, sponsorship strategy, media rights, consulting, and experiential marketing. 

Previously, he served as Chairman and CEO of Momentum Worldwide, where he led global expansion and helped define modern experiential marketing. He is widely credited with advancing the concept of “phygital” brand experiences that connect physical and digital engagement. 

Chris has been inducted into the Experiential Marketing Hall of Fame and recognized among the 4A’s Top 100 People Who Make Advertising Great. His work has earned Cannes Lions, Effie, and Clio awards, and Momentum was repeatedly recognized as a top agency in sports and experiential marketing. 

He is a co founder of the 4A’s High School Initiative and serves on multiple boards including HighPost Capital, Locally, and Magic Spoon. 

David Levy

Co-CEO & Founder, HS&E

David Levy is Co-CEO and Founder of Horizon Sports and Experiences. He leads the organization’s focus on sports media, sponsorship, experiential platforms, and intellectual property development, helping brands create integrated storytelling across live and digital environments. 

Previously, he served as President of Turner, overseeing a major portfolio of networks including TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Turner Sports. During his 30 year tenure, he helped shape Turner’s leadership in sports, entertainment, and advertising solutions.

Katie Comerford

President, Horizon Commerce and Client Transformation

Katie Comerford is President of Horizon Commerce and Client Transformation, where she leads enterprise data strategy, client transformation initiatives, and Horizon Commerce operations. A marketing and media executive with nearly two decades of experience, she focuses on integrating marketing intelligence with Horizon’s Client Architect model — aligning technology, data, and talent to drive measurable business outcomes and accelerate growth. 

She has been with Horizon for more than 11 years, previously serving as EVP, Chief Strategy & Operations Officer at Horizon Next, where she helped shape integrated solutions across media, data, and technology. Additionally, she was Executive Vice President of Marketing and Media Services at Hero Digital, leading next-generation offerings across media, experience design, and commerce to help brands navigate evolving consumer behaviors and drive growth across the customer lifecycle.

Katy Ferguson

Katy Ferguson is the President of Horizon East, leading the New York operations of Horizon Media, the world’s largest independent media agency. In this role, she is responsible for driving operational rigor, financial health, and best practices across the New York client teams. At the forefront of today’s outcomes-focused media landscape, Katy serves as a strategic growth partner to clients navigating complex transformations, leveraging data-driven strategies and artificial intelligence to connect marketplace investments directly to tangible business growth. 

With over 30 years of industry experience and a 17-year legacy at Horizon, Katy has consistently driven business-transforming growth. Previously, as EVP, Managing Partner, she oversaw integrated media strategy and execution across traditional, digital, and emerging channels, and was a foundational architect of Horizon’s highly successful entertainment practice. She has partnered with leading brands in entertainment and beyond, guiding investment strategies that connect media to revenue and business impact. Her expertise spans entertainment, CPG, pharma, and retail. 

Known for her people-first leadership style, Katy passionately champions a culture that balances accountability with empathy. She is the co-founder of LIMITLESS, Horizon’s women’s leadership group, and the executive sponsor of Horizon Village, a resource group supporting working parents. Michael Cohen

EVP, Head of Performance Digital, Horizon Media

Michael Cohen is Executive Vice President of Performance Media at Horizon Media, where he leads an organization of more than 400 people spanning search, social, affiliate marketing, SEO and AEO, out-of-home media, ad operations, and enterprise partnerships. 

During Michael’s tenure, the organization has grown from a team of five into one of the agency’s largest and most consequential practices. He launched and built Horizon’s affiliate marketing and SEO/AEO capabilities and has played a central role in developing the talent, operating models, and strategic capabilities that enable the agency to compete with the industry’s strongest performance media organizations.   

Michael has also helped establish proprietary product development as a defining part of Horizon’s performance media offering. He has sponsored and led cross-functional teams responsible for capabilities including Amazon search intelligence and share-of-voice measurement, signals-based custom bidding, automated marginal-ROAS forecasting and budget allocation, and social creative scoring. These products are widely adopted across the agency and help teams make more sophisticated decisions about planning, optimization, and investment. 

His current work focuses on the convergence of search, social, creator media, and AI-mediated discovery—and on developing new ways for brands to understand and influence their visibility across paid, owned, and earned environments. 

Michael is a member of Google’s Chief Product Officer Council and Microsoft’s Challenger Collective and contributes to industry research on the future of search and performance marketing. His perspectives have been featured in Ad Age, The Wall Street Journal, eMarketer, and Marketing Brew. 

Before joining Horizon, Michael led partnerships and product development at a higher-education startup and online acquisition at Citi. He began his career in consulting and as a freelance writer. Outside the office, Michael fosters dogs and has officiated several weddings; mercifully, the two activities have not overlapped. 

Mike O'Conner

Executive Vice President, Head of Investment & General Manager of MX  
Horizon Media 

As Executive Vice President, Head of Investment and General Manager of Horizon MX at Horizon Media, Mike O’Connor leads the agency’s commercial buying business and oversees more than $2 billion in media investment across digital and linear channels.   

With more than 25 years of experience in media investment, including 17 years at Horizon Media, Mike has played a pivotal role in transforming the agency’s investment capabilities. He leads a team of more than 100 professionals and spearheaded the integration of Horizon Next’s digital and video investment teams into a unified organization. His expertise spans linear and streaming video, digital, audio and print, and he has built deep relationships across the advertising ecosystem while developing innovative marketplace solutions, including first-to-market streaming buying models, proprietary attribution and pricing tools, and advanced investment strategies that have driven measurable efficiencies and business growth. His work has delivered impactful results for a diverse roster of clients, including FanDuel, Credit Karma, Safelite, Sleep Number, Carvana and Charter.  

A trusted leader in Horizon’s new business efforts, Michael has helped secure major accounts including Bombas, Noom, ADT and Warby Parker by developing strategic investment solutions that align with clients’ business goals while driving growth for the agency. Prior to Horizon, he held leadership positions at Zenithmedia, PHD, TargetCast, Universal McCann and MediaVest Worldwide. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dickinson College. 

Robert Jenkyn

President, Horizon Media Canada

Robert Jenkyn is President of Horizon Media Canada. He is a seasoned media leader with more than 30 years of experience across the Canadian media landscape, known for driving strong business outcomes through strategic clarity and innovation. 

As CEO of Media Experts, he led the agency’s transformation into a data driven, client centric organization, strengthening its competitive position in a rapidly evolving market. His leadership has consistently focused on aligning client objectives with agency capabilities to deliver measurable growth. 

He serves as a former Board Chair of Vividata and is a current board member of the Merit Award Bursary Program. He has also participated as a juror for major Canadian and international media awards. 

Robert is actively involved in global community initiatives, including volunteering on Habitat for Humanity projects in Chile, the Philippines, and the Yukon in Canada. 

Roberto Alcazar

EVP, Managing Partner, Creative Chair, One Horizon

Roberto Alcazar is EVP, Managing Partner of One Horizon, Horizon Media’s full service creative agency. He leads the integration of client service, strategy, creative, and business development to ensure a unified and growth focused agency vision. 

Under his leadership, 305 Worldwide has earned recognition including Best Small Agency of the Year at MUSE and multiple Platinum and Gold awards. He was named to the Adweek 50 and Crain’s Notable Leaders in Advertising. 

Prior to Horizon, Roberto held senior roles across Latin America and the United States at FCB, Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey Global, and IPG Mediabrands. He has led work for major global brands including P&G, Bank One, DIAGEO, and General Motors. 

His creative work has been recognized by Clio, Addys, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. He also serves as a juror for the Emmy Awards and sits on the board of Corazón Latino. 

Sam Rose

EVP, Head of Integrated Investment and Programmatic, Horizon Media 

Samantha (Sam) Rose, EVP, Head of Investment & Programmatic, has been a leader at Horizon Media for over 19 years, bringing deep expertise in media investment across the video and advanced TV landscape. She began her career in linear television and has continuously evolved alongside industry shifts, overseeing investments in linear TV, streaming, and digital video for clients across diverse categories. For more than 13 years, she has led the Capital One Investment team, delivering innovative and customized solutions in a rapidly changing marketplace.    

Sam founded and built Horizon’s advanced TV practice over a decade ago, positioning the agency at the forefront of data-driven and audience-based television buying. Under her leadership, the team executed several first-to-market initiatives, including early business-outcome guarantees and the adoption of alternative currencies.    

Today, Sam oversees Horizon’s Integrated Investment practice, which includes leading the agency’s Upfront approach and negotiation strategy. In this capacity, she sets investment priorities and negotiation guardrails, aligns client goals with marketplace dynamics, and leads cross-functional teams through planning, deal structuring, and final agreements with media partners. She ensures commitments are structured to maximize flexibility and performance, and partners closely with client teams on upfront recommendations, pacing and stewardship throughout the year, and post-upfront reporting and learnings.  

In addition to overseeing the integrated investment group, more recently, Sam has also taken on the programmatic practice, advancing efforts to more fully integrate programmatic capabilities across the agency’s investment approach. She works closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to drive more effective, efficient, and measurable media outcomes.  Notable achievements in this area include implementing customized CTV programmatic approaches for her clients, resulting in better frequency distribution, a +10–30% increase in campaign reach, and KPI improvements such as 2x stronger brand health metrics and ~15% better CPAs.  

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Sam is widely recognized for her commitment to mentorship and talent development, fostering learning and collaboration across Horizon and within the industry. She holds leadership positions within two of Horizon’s EIG groups, “Limitless” (Women Employees & Advocates for Gender Equality), and “Shalom” (Jewish Employees and their allies). She is lucky to spend time balancing her career with her role as an active parent to her two spirited children, Zachary (11) and Alexandra (9). 

Sarah Bachman

EVP, Head of Blue Hour Studios

Sarah Bachman is Executive Vice President and Head of Blue Hour Studios. She leads the studio’s strategic vision and operational direction, building integrated media and digital experiences that connect brands and audiences. 

She previously held leadership roles at agency.com within the TBWA network, where she led digital media planning and buying for British Airways, helping shape early digital transformation in global media strategy.
